DuGe Courtyard Boutique Hotel Beijing is the first designer courtyard boutique hotel in China. Its characteristic red-and-blue doors invite the guests with a promise of comfort and a little of the mysterious. Stepping over the high threshold typical of the traditional Chinese entrances, guests are taken on a journey through time and design in which the traditional Chinese architecture of DuGe Courtyard Boutique Hotel frames sleek, lacquered contemporary furnishings and guestrooms are lit by ornate, crystal chandeliers. Each themed suite at DuGe Courtyard Boutique Hotel and guestroom is individually designed with its own matching and coordinated bath or shower room. Black paper-cuts decorate the courtyard-facing windows, wall-coverings and drapes are rich and lavish. No detail has been left to chance. Depending on where you are, colors are warm, bold and subtle by turn, and each suite creates a mood that is both welcoming and unexpected. Many of the items of furniture and decorative pieces in the hotel are custom-designed and selected for DuGe. Crossing the courtyards of DuGe Courtyard Boutique Hotel Beijing to go through the hotel’s Reflections dining-room brings additional amazement in the blending of typical East-meets-West styles and bright contrasted hues mixed with intricately engraved woodwork: the whole enhanced with Baccarat chandeliers and mirrors to create reflections of infinity. The small White Russian bar is just outside the restaurant. Its glassware is warmly shimmering and inviting guests seeking refreshment, a pre-dinner drink or a tranquil chitchat with friends and other guests. In the courtyards, the bamboo rustles, the traditional lanterns glow gently and against the sky are etched the curved roof ends of each one of DuGe’s pavilions.

It is only a short distance from the Nanluoguxiang (50 meters) as well as the Drum Tower (0,7km) and the Forbidden City (2km).
