Hospes Hotels & Moments has been awarded “Best Hotel Chain” in the VII Hotel Initiative Awards 2006 organized by Gran Hotel magazine (Curt Ediciones, S.A.) which took place last Thursday, June 15th, at the Batlló House in Barcelona, attended by over 300 guests belonging to the hotel industry.

Hospes Palacio de los Patos ***** of Granada achieved the award for “Best Hotel Restoration”, as a recognition to its cared-for restoration of a XIX century palace - of classical as well as industrial architecture and officially catalogued as a Site of Cultural Interest - into a luxury design-marked charismatic 5 star hotel.

Hospes Hotels & Moments was nominated in two further categories: “Best Boutique Hotel” with Hospes Maricel ***** in Mallorca and “Best Corporate Image”.

The hotel will be close due to renovations, from the 15th of June 2006 until Spring 2007. The number of rooms available will be reduced in favor of bigger, more magnificent guest rooms.

Maximilian Hotel in Prague has been featured in the famous magazine "Conde Nast Traveler", which is one of the best guide for travelers all over the world. It gives you the best information  concerning cities, spas, castles and cruises. In order to develop this list of 130 hotels the magazine's staff have carefully inpected hundreds of new hotels all over the world with a set off criteria. Of course, they went there without mentioning they were journalists…

We will also count with sculptures exhibitions organised by the
“Gabinete de Hyde” during the whole summer.

Jazz live concert with the quartet MJ3 (and invited guest) Alla Yanovsky (piano),
Marcelo Saénz (guitar) and Markus Schneider (bass)

Wednesday: 22-23.30hrs Summer Short films – selected by Jaime Santaolalla

Thursdays: 21.30-23.30hrs L-Duo Flamenco Live Session
One of the new activities this year at the Terraza Larios is live flamenco sessions with different options that come up from combining flamenco and jazz, these will vary weekly.

Fridays: 22.00-02.00hrs "C & C" Lounge (access only with VIP pass or name on guest list *)
Cocktail & Champagne Lounge: Free cocktail or Champagne glass with dinner orders.
We would also count with DJs mixing Rare Grooves, Samba Soul, Dance Floor Jazz, Exotica and Funky.

Saturdays: 22.00 - 02.00hrs Terraza Sounds (access only with VIP pass or name on guest list *)
Range of the best Djs in town with different music styles.
 Along the summer we will count with invited female DJs, Video DJs and surprises.
