The highly recognized Klaus K in Helsinki, Finland, becomes a member of the Miami-based boutique hotels representation company.

Miami, FL May 1, 2007 – Epoque Hotels is proud to announce its partnership with renowned Finnish boutique hotel Klaus K. Epoque Hotels has dubbed Klaus K an Avantgarde Superior Hotel,  the Avantgarde Line being the newly launched collection of hip, innovative hotels in the group.

A depiction of a national epic, the Kalevala, is astoundingly translated in the Klaus K hotel. Modelled on complementary disparities of the ancient story, which tells of a mother goddess birthing eggs bearing variant worldly elements, including the sun and moon, this hotel in Helsinki has received many praises in the country’s hospitality circuit and has gained a world famous reputation.

Located at the centre of the city’s main streets, Erottaja and Mannerheimintie, and atop the Helsinki's Esplanadi, it allows for the fashionable traveller to cross the street for excellent shopping. The Kalevala aspects are apparent upon arrival with the egg shaped reception desk brilliantly lit by a bright nest-like structure. The all-white modern seating area surrounding the desk is suggestive of the seven eggs in the story.

Each room in the hotel, including two suites, have custom made beds with suede headboards, and mattresses lined with comfort to assure pleasant dreams.
