Tamarindo, Costa Rica
Tamarindo befindet sich auf der nördlichen Pazifikküste von Costa Rica in der Provinz Guanacaste. Besucher kommen hierher zum Surfen und Öko-Tourismus. Auch wenn es nicht überall entlang des langen Strandes außergewöhnliche Wellen gibt, gibt es dennoch ziemlich starke Strömungen. Beobachten Sie Lederrücken-Schildkröten während ihrer monatelangen Verschachtelung in der Saison von November bis April. Die Besucher können auch Tauchen, Schnorcheln, Surfen, Reiten, Sportfischen, Leinenfischerei und auch Kajakausflüge bis zur Mündung mit den Möglichkeiten Affen, Papageien und Krokodile zu sehen.
