Das exklusive, aus dem 19. Jahrhundert stammende Hotelgebäude kann man im Herzen des historischen Zentrums von Syrakus finden. Man kann vom Hotel aus einen fantastischen Blick auf das Meer genießen. In der altertümlichen “Mastra Rua”, wo im 14. Jahrhundert der Adel von Syrakus wohnte, beginnen meist die historischen Führungen. Die kürzlich vorgenommene Restaurierung hat das Original von drei Gebäuden erhalten, was zum dynamischen Erscheinungsbild maßgeblich beiträgt. Alle 30 Zimmer sind individuell mit antiken Möbeln sowie Himmelbetten eingerichtet und raffiniert dekoriert. All dies sowie die bunten Badfliesen führen zu einem unverkennbaren sizilianischen und mediterranen Stil. Der Charme der Vergangenheit, welcher in der restaurierten Einrichtung und Ausstattung zu finden ist, lässt jedoch nicht den gewünschten Komfort außer Acht.
