This Stockholm's romantic hotel is named after Lady Hamilton - the mistress of Lord Nelson and as the muse of George Romney. The Lady Hamilton Hotel is housed in a building from the 1470s, the times of Sten Sture the Elder. Its well in the cellar dates back to the 15th century and presently it is used as a plunge pool. The Lady Hamilton Hotel is located in the Old Town of Stockholm, next to the Royal Palace and the Stockholm Cathedral, within an easy walking distance to the whole Stockholm City area and 2 minutes walk from public transportation. The National Museum, the Kungsträdgarden, the Dance Museum as well as the Nobel Museum are in close vicinity. The Gamla Stan Metro Station is 400 m away and the hotel itself is only one metro stop away from the Central Station.
