The Province of Salta is located in the Northwest of Argentina, bordering with Chile , Bolivia and Paraguay. Founded in 1582, Salta still bears a distinct Hispanic character that differentiate itself from other cities in the country, featuring colonial houses, narrow streets and pavements, and the brownish green of the hills surrounding the city.
