San Regis Hotel, Paris
San Regis Hotel in Paris . In the early 1980's the San Regis was purchased by Mr. Elie Georges, an art-loving entrepreneur. At first sight he was captivated by the well-balanced neoclassical facade in perfect equilibrium with the inner spaces, and the antique furniture that still remained.Mr. Elie Georges decided to preserve the exquisite charm of the stylish residence, and to restore the original fine antiques. In 1985, the total renovation was carried out, making the San Regis a Deluxe hotel, bearing the character of a private home. This remarkable accomplishment was supervised by the French interior Designer Pierre-Yves Rochon. There are 33 rooms and 11 suites at Hotel Regis, all decorated with distinctive fine fabrics, corresponding furniture and exclusive pieces of art. For a relaxing afternoon, or just to lounge and have drinks, the Boiseries and Winter Garden Lounges with the English Bar are privileged places. The Restaurant is a charming space in the manner of a library, recreating the ambiance of a private dining area.
