After the success of the first LUXX in Bangkok in 2006, the philosophy, design and culture-of-small, hip and chic hotels outlined a new era in Bangkok’s boutique hotel industry. LUXX is reinventing itself three years later with the opening of the new LUXX XL, a 7-storey design building that converged function, space and style, featuring a 12 metre infinity edge and slate stone-finished salt-system swimming pool. From there, one can relax at ‘Milk’ – a New York style glass bar overlooking the swimming pool and the garden. They are all part of the ‘Club LUXX’ – which includes the fitness room, a business centre and an executive lounge by the garden. All LUXX XL’s guests are guaranteed privacy and exclusivity. The Hotel features 34 studio rooms and 17 suites in varied sizes and style. They come in 33 sqm to 47 sqm for the studio rooms, from 66 sqm for the one-bedroom suites, up to 99 sqm to 208 sqm for the two-bedroom suites. The rooms boast carefully crafted furniture and minimalist finishing and fittings made of teak wood, slate stone and polished or matte stainless steel.
