Tres Lagos means Three Lakes in Spanish: the Hacienda Tres Lagos in fact is surrounded by three beautiful lakes. It is located on the shoreline of Negro Lake with its own private beach and behind lies the General Carrera Lake, the second largest in South America. Within a few minutes walk is Lake Bertrand, also with its private beach. The Hacienda offers two restaurants, the Parador Austral and the Quincho Patagonico, with national and international cuisine and traditional Patagonian barbecues, Facilities include, games room, star-gazing with telescopes, a Spa with hot tubs, massage and sauna. The Hacienda Tres Lagos is located 274 km south of Coyhaique, in region XI in Chile, 10 km West of Puerto Guadal, on the shore of Negro Lake between General Carrera and Bertrand Lakes, at the same latitude as the San Rafael Lagoon and to the East of the Northern Ice Fields. La Patagonia Cilena offre tutta la spettacolarità paesaggi mozzafiato che ci si aspetta dall’ultima estremità della terra. Qui il continente Sudamericano si trasforma in una straordinaria esplosione di isole, ghiacciai, iceberg e montagne, decisamente uno dei capolavori più riusciti di madre natura. La Patagonia Cilena è composta da due sub-regioni, Aysen a Nord e Magallanes a Sud. Aysen ospita la il Parco nazionale della Laguna San Rafael, mentre a Magallanes si trova il Parco Nazionale Torres del Paine. Separato dal resto del Cile da violente tempeste e ripide montagne, il Magallanes è infatti accessibile solamente per via aerea o via terra dall’Argentina. Il Torres del Paine, che incornicia il parco omonimo, è una spettacolare catena montuosa che supera quote di 9.000 piedi. Fra le attrazioni principali di questa regione spiccano il Cuernos del Paine, con picchi di 6.300 piedi, le incantevoli cascate di Salto Chico e Salto Grande, i ghiacciai Grey, Pingo, del Frances e Dickson, e una infinità di laghi. Un vero paradiso per gli amanti dell’avventura.
