Una vera combinazione di vecchio e nuovo, un monumento sia al passato imperiale svedese sia alla moderna tecnologia. Circondata dalla storia, dai pittoreschi edifici, dalle strade ciottolate, questa città offre il fascino del vecchio mondo insieme a moderne connivenze che abbondano ad ogni angolo. Alcuni dei luoghi migliori da visitare sono Gamla Stan, la città vecchia, il Palazzo Reale e il Museo Vasa. A tutto ciò si aggiunge la magica atmosfera creata dall’acqua che scorre attraverso la città e che le conferisce una sensazione incredibile. Infatti non c’è da stupirsi se Stoccolma viene chiamata la “Venezia del nord”. Questa città vista dall’acqua è indimenticabile. Vale veramente la pena visitare l’arcipelago in barca e le sue acque sono così pulite che è possibile nuotare nel porticciolo che si trova a pochi passi dal municipio, esattamente come fanno gli abitanti del luogo. Una città che è anche un brillante esempio di alto standard di vita, elegante e chic, oltre ad essere una delle capitali più pulite d'Europa, con gente sorridente. Una miriade di piccoli e simpatici negozi con una varietà di prodotti da comprare e una gran quantità di caffè e ristoranti che offrono vari tipi di eccellente cucina, rendono Stoccolma una bellissima città da visitare durante tutto l’anno. Ma ricordatevi che la Svezia gode del miglior clima in estate (a metà estate, il sole non tramonta per niente in alcune parti della Svezia!). In breve: la gemma della Scandinavia è vivamente consigliata.
