St Wolfgang, Austria
Situata nel cuore del distretto dei laghi austriaci, St Wolfgang è una delle mete turistiche preferite in Austria. St Wolfgang è un piacevole villaggio storico, che occupa le meravigliose sponde del Wolfgangsee (Lago Wolfgang). Nel centro di St Wolfgang si trova una chiesa tardo-gotica meta di pellegrinaggi e numerosi antichi edifici, e il famoso “White Horse Inn”, reso celebre dall’operetta omonima. La chiesa tardo-gotica si trova su una terrazza sull’argine del Wolfgangsee, sopravvissuta a un incendio, la chiesa fu ricostruita tra il 1429 e il 1477, e dipinta in stile barocco nel 1683. Oltre alla torre, rimangono ancora tre porte della chiesa originale. La musica a St Wolfgang è fondamentale, il villaggio organizza concerti di musica classica, opera e folkloristica e due volte la settimana concerti di bande di ottoni nella piazza principale. Non è un caso che il film “Tutti insieme appassionatamente” fu girato nella vicina Salisburgo e in quest’area! Sia che stiate cercando un momento di relax navigando le chiare acque di un lago di montagna, e un punto di partenza per le passeggiate in montagna del distretto dei laghi, o un centro dotato di favolosi mezzi di trasporto e programmi di escursioni, St Wolfgang è il posto giusto per voi.
