Description: Lake View Superior Rooms are situated a mere 15 metres (45 feet) from the lakeshore and from where guests can hear the lapping of the waters on Caragh Lake's shores. Boasting panoramic views across Caragh Lake to the McGillycuddy Reeks - Ireland's most famous mountain range featuring Carrauntoohil, the country's highest mountain - lake view superior rooms offer some of the most spectacular scenery in Ireland. No two rooms are the same as each room is individually decorated with antique furniture. Guests have the option of a king size or two individual single beds, which are positioned to take full advantage of the lake views. Spacious ensuite bathrooms feature both bath and separate power shower, non-mist wall mirrors and toiletries by Gilchrist & Soames.

Description: Boasting 180-degree panoramic view of Caragh Lake and Kerry's McGillycuddy Reeks mountain range, the Presidential Suite is truly sumptuous and offers a view of some of the of the most spectacular scenery in Ireland from the suites own sitting room. Featuring unique antique furnishings, the piece de résistance of this suite is the exotic and ornate antique king size rosewood bed imported from India, complete with canopy and access steps. With separate his & hers dressing rooms, the suite's lake views extend to the bathroom, which features a Jacuzzi bath. Toiletries are by Gilbchrist & Soames.

Ring of Kerry, Irlanda

Ring of Kerry è un sentiero turistico nella contea Kerry, nel sud-ovest dell’Irlanda. Il percorso copre 170 km di strade circolari (N70, N71 e R562), partendo da Killarney per arrivare alla penisola di Iveragh attraverso Kenmare, Sneem, Waterville (luogo di vacanze preferito di Charlie Chaplin, il quale ha ora una statua a lui dedicata per ricordare il suo amore per il luogo), Cahersiveen e Killorglin. Famosi sono anche Muckross House (vicino a Killarney), il forte in pietra Staigue e Derrynane House, casa di Daniel O’Connell. A sud di Killarney, il castello Ross, Lough Lane e Ladies View (un punto panoramico), sono luoghi di attrazione turistica situati lungo il Ring all’interno del parco nazionale Killarney. Esiste un sentiero da fare a piedi, il Kerry Way, che segue un suo percorso, e uno segnalato per i ciclisti che utilizza strade più vecchie e meno frequentate. La Kerry Way segue all’incirca lo stesso tragitto panormanico del Ring of Kerry. Ci sono numerose variazioni di percorso che portano sulla baia St.Finian e sull’isola di Valentia che il sentiero ufficiale non attraversa (il percorso ufficiale per biciclette passa attraverso l’isola Valentia). “The Ring” è un’escursione giornaliera gettonata e diverse compagnie di autobus offrono il servizio durante i mesi estivi. Poiché le strade strette non permettono il passaggio ai pullman, tutti gli autobus guidano in senso anti-orario, passando prima per Killorglin. Si raccomanda ai possessori di auto di guidare in direzione opposta, attraversando prima Kenmare per evitare i ritardi causati dagli autobus turistici.
