Si se ha preguntado alguna vez por qué los colores de la bandera griega son azul y blanco, la respuesta la encontrará en esta maravillosa isla, que forma parte del grupo Egeo de islas llamadas Cyclades y que bordean Tinos, Syros, Naxos y Paros. La capital de esta Isla, Hora (también nominada Chora o Ciudad de Mykonos) es particularmente encantadora y está considerada como una de las más bonitas ciudades pequeñas de Cyclades. Es representativa de la arquitectura de la isla con sus blancas casas cúbicas, de techos planos, puertas y ventanas azules, sus callecitas estrechas, balcones floridos y una atmósfera mágica y pintoresca. La tonalidad de azul combina perfectamente con las azules aguas cristalinas, sus preciosas playas (inclusive hay una playa que se llama Paraíso y otra que se llama Super Paraíso) y el estupendo azul del cielo. Este magnífico escenario parece una leyenda Egea hecha realidad.
