There are wide sweeping views over Koggala Lake and the tea estate, a private courtyard garden filled with highly scented gardenia bushes and frangipani trees, two bathrooms with outdoor showers, and the room is decorated with the signature theme of black and white.
The large ebony four-poster bed stands proudly in the centre of the room, affording the occupant the incredible views outside.

Tamarind Suite:
Description: A stylish mixture of antique blue and white ceramics alongside a modern wrought iron four poster bed make for an original and comfortable place to stay.
With a choice of places to sit and relax, from the wide banquette at the foot of the bed, to the bench and chairs on the verandah, there is no reason not to feel totally chilled.
There are double hand basins in the Bathroom, as well as double showers!

Mango Suite:
Description: This elegant suite has a large wooden four-poster bed, draped with a mosquito net, from where you get a stunning view over the tea.
The room is decorated with a mixture of contemporary furniture manufactured in Sri Lanka, along with some antique Oriental pieces, including some fine rice paper paintings.
The Bathroom has double hand basins, as well as double showers!
Overlooking the tea is a wide verandah, with a deep antique Balinese bench - the perfect place to sit and relax, listening to the sounds of the jungle beyond.

Description: Like The Garden Suite, this is in the original building, and so these rooms are always beautifully cool witht heir high ceilings.
This room has two antique single four-poster beds in it, and also enjoys a large bathroom with an outdoor shower, and is surrounded by a wide verandah.

Garden Suite:
Description: This being the original building, there are high lofty ceilings helping to keep the rooms cool, even when it is hot outside. This room has a large double bed, antique furniture, and wide verandahs outside with sofas and chairs, where you can sit and relax.
The spacious bathroom has two hand basins, and an outdoor shower, densely planted with ginger lilies and palms to give that truly exotic feel!

Galle, Sri Lanka
One of the areas hammered by the 2004 Tsunami is still attracting the tourist today. Also known as ‘the walled city”, Galle has stood since the early sixteenth century, through the Colonial periods of the Portuguese, Dutch and British and in our present times. Proclaimed as an Archaeological Reserve and has been identified as the seventh UNESCO World Heritage Site. The seaside town of Galle is 116 Km., from Colombo by road or rail, down the southwest coast. Both routes are picturesque, following the coastline closely for much of the way. Galle is the sort of place from which one must take away a souvenir. From handmade Galle lace with names such as Brussels or the Honiton, to limpid moonstones or the more precious and rarer of gems, the blue sapphire or the ruby!
