El Calafate, Argentina
Situato sul confine meridionale del lago Argentino, El Calafate è un minuscolo villaggio in Patagonia, Argentina. Il suo nome deriva dal calafete, un arbusto dalle bacche blu e dai fiori gialli ampiamente diffuso in Patagonia. El Calafate è un’importante destinazione turistica, punto di partenza per visitare le diverse parti del parco nazionale Los Glaciares, tra cui il ghiacciaio Perito Moreno (uno dei più visitati al mondo) e il Cerro Chalten e il Cerro Torre. I 5000 abitanti del villaggio di El Calafate hanno fatto dell’ospitalità un culto. Una comunità pacifica e affascinante dal 1913, un paradiso di tranquillità e natura da mozzare il fiato, El Calafete è il luogo dove tutte le bellezze della Patagonia si rivelano in tutto il loro splendore.
