Muntanya de Sal – La Montagna di Sale- formata da cumuli di salgemma iridescenti come ghiaccioli macchiati dal colore rosso scuro dell’argilla sopra ad un letto di arenaria, è il sistema di tunnel sotterraneo concretizzato nell’area. Le meraviglie sotto l’area catalana, non sono comunque limitate sottoterra, ma si estendono anche in superficie. A Cardona si trova anche il Castell i Canonica di Sant Vicenc, una magnifica chiesa romanica del XVI sec, e il castello di Cardona, una roccaforte famosa per non essersi mai arresa a nessun esercito e che offre una vista panoramica mozzafiato della parte meridionale della città.
