Kilkee, Irlanda
Kilkee is a picturesque Victorian resort village on Ireland's West Coast which has frequently been awarded the Blue Flag by the European Union in recognition of its beautifull clean beach. Kilkee stands in a pretty horsehoe bay midway between the Cliffs of Moher and the Ring of Kerry. Local attractions include scenic coastal drives, heritage sites, cliffs, beachesand caves and all kinds of sport on land and sea including golf in the adjacent Kilkee Golf course and the newly open Doonbeg Golf Links designed by Greg Norman. Kilkee's position makes it an excellent base for touring the West and South West coasts of Ireland.
