Mendoza
Mendoza is the most important city of the region of Cuyo in Argentina, and is the capital of the homonymous province. Renowned for its Mount Aconcagua, for its Malbec wines, Mendoza is one of the most beautiful cities in the country. Located in the foothills of the Andes Mountain Range, it gives shape to an amazing oasis with the help of the Mendoza and Tunuyán Rivers. The climate in Mendoza is moderate-temperate, though its mountains gives some aridity. Mendoza preserves countless memories from the times of San Martin’s ordeal through Mount De la Gloria, el Plumerillo, San Martín Park and a choice of museums whose treasures record the passing of the Argentinian hero through this region. Mendoza is also famous for its Wine Route, where wine enthusiastic can go wine tasting at various wineries.
