About Greece
Greece is a tourist destination since ancient times. "Ellados Periigissis" (Description of Greece), is the title of the first travel guide written by Pausanias -Greek historian, traveler and geographer- for the Roman tourists that visited Greece in the 2nd century A.D.
Its striking scenery and pleasing climate combined with some of the globe’s most precious historical places make us understand why Greece was chosen by the Gods and it attracts millions of travelers every year.
Needless to say that if your idea about Greece is in blue and white with some shadows of yellow, you’ll find out that it is much more than only sea, resorts, sun of its internationally known islands (mainly Mykonos, Santorini, Crete, Rhodes and Corfu) and temples...
