One of the most striking buildings in Prague is the Old Town Hall with an outstanding astronomical clock. Other dominant feature of the Old Town Square is the Church of Our Lady Before Tyn. The Prague State Opera was opened as a Prague German stage with the performance of Wagner’s opera in 1888. Nowadays with its spacious auditorium and neo-Rococo decoration, this theatre building belongs among the most beautiful in Europe.
