The village of Trancoso is one of the best preserved in the municipality of Porto Seguro, Bahia. Trancoso is really a special place full of charm and character. Founded by a Jesuit community in the 16th Century the village hasn’t lost its irresistible appeal, with today’s Quadrado Historico as the village’s lively heart.
