Cuernavaca, Messico
Cuernavaca is the capital and largest city of the state of Morelos in Mexico. Cuernavaca enjoys a very mild climate, its temperature averaging 27°C all year; for this reason it is often called: "The city of the eternal Spring". The city is a very popular weekend getaway for Mexico City's residents. Cuernavaca can be reached from the Mexican capital with a comfortable 80 Km. motorway drive. Cuernavaca is well representative of the Mexican Central Highlands: its historical richness, striking scenery, colourful life, and delightful climate, make it an attractive destination. Famous landmarks in Cuernavaca are: the colonial building Palacio de Cortés, the Zocalo of Cuernavaca and the Cathedral. Cuernavaca has historical sites from the Revolution and archaeological sites like Teopanzolco. Many artists have their workshops in Cuernavaca.
